Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a Lead Housekeeper to maintain a safe, clean community for residents and staff. Responsibilities include supervising housekeeping staff, laundering linens, and keeping resident apartments in top condition.

The role requires adherence to chemical handling standards, biohazard waste procedures, and routine cleaning of bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas. A high school diploma or GED and prior cleaning experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Previous experience cleaning residential or commercial settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages housekeeping staff to follow policies, procedures and safety measures.
• Follows standards for chemical use and emergency procedures if chemicals are misused.
• Understands proper handling of biohazardous waste.
• Thoroughly cleans resident apartments as scheduled by the supervisor.
• Cleans bathrooms and sterilizes floors.
• Cleans kitchen counters and mops the floor.
• Vacuum all exposed areas including edges.
• Cleans common areas per standards across elevators, halls, stairs, lobbies and model units.
• Maintains orderly laundry and stores chemicals per instructions.
