Job summary

Commerce Casino is seeking a Housekeeping attendant to maintain cleanliness and guest satisfaction across the casino floor. The role requires leading by example, training subordinates, and following eight-hour shift cleaning schedules.

Candidates should have three years of housekeeping experience, English proficiency, knowledge of chemical usage and safety procedures, and strong communication skills. Bi-lingual abilities are preferred for a diverse guest base.

Responsibilities

• Performs as regular Housekeeping attendant with additional duties while leading by example.
• Assist supervisor in supervising, training, development of subordinates, and maintenance of the casino with customer satisfaction and teamwork.
• Follows the daily cleaning schedules, per eight (8) hour shift.
• Demonstrates knowledge of all Housekeeping responsibilities.
• Ensure methodologies and perform routine inspections.
• Assures that all cleaning tasks are performed in a safe and timely manner.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Assist supervisor in training and evaluation of subordinates.
• Ability to lift a maximum of fifty (50) pounds up to three (3) times per week and push a maximum of one hundred (100) pounds up to three (3) times per week for various job related duties per eight (8) hour shift.
• Performs all other work -related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

3. Follows the daily cleaning schedules, per eight (8) hour shift.
4. Demonstrates knowledge of all Housekeeping responsibilities.
