Senior Lifestyle in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor who will aid the Director of Housekeeping in coordinating and performing housekeeping services to ensure top cleanliness and resident satisfaction. You may supervise other staff and help manage schedules and budgets.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of supervisory housekeeping experience, preferably in senior living or hotel settings, and a high school diploma or GED. English skills required and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Housekeeping Supervisor experience, preferably in a Senior Living community or hotel setting.
• English language proficiency: ability to speak and understand English.
• Team-oriented and customer-service minded with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and staff schedules to clean offices, public spaces, and residential apartments.
• Ensure safe use of cleaning chemicals and regulatory compliance (MSDS, OSHA, EPA).
• Assist in annual deep cleaning and prep for move-ins.
• Inspect offices, common spaces, guestrooms, and apartments for cleanliness.
• Maintain inventory control for supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
• Support budget development and monitoring for housekeeping.
• Promote energy awareness within the department.

Job Description

• Assist in coordinating and staffing schedules to ensure the cleaning of offices, public spaces, and residential apartments.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and properly in accordance with department guidelines and assure compliance with local, state, and federal safety standards, MSDS, OSHA, EPA and other relevant rules and regulations.
• Assist in coordinating the annual deep cleaning program.
• Schedule the preparation of apartments for move-ins.
• Conduct inspection of offices, common space, guestrooms, and residential apartments.
• Maintain inventory control systems for all supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Assist in developing and monitoring the housekeeping department budget.
• Establish energy awareness in the department.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 year of Housekeeping Supervisor experience, preferably in a Senior Living community setting or a hotel setting.

Level of Formal Education:

A High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

The ability to speak and understand the English language.
