Position Overview

Leads environmental services associates in performing a variety of environmental services to maintain assigned areas in a clean and orderly condition.

Minimum Qualifications

Education, Certification, and/or Licensure:

• One (1) year of housekeeping experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

1. Monitor housekeeping activities to ensure proper cleaning, servicing, and stocking of supplies; complete work schedules and report problems.
2. Perform housekeeping duties such as sweeping, dusting, polishing, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
3. Ensure supplies, materials, and equipment are available; report malfunctions.
4. Report repairs needed for equipment, furniture, and fixtures.
5. Assist in training employees in cleaning techniques and equipment use.

Specialty Accreditation Requirements

Completion of annual education related to specialty accreditation as defined by standards, through CBLs, trainings, in-services, and competency validation.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform cleaning tasks, operate cleaning equipment, meet Heavy Duty Standard, and wear PPE for extended periods.

Working Environment

Exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, and cleaning chemicals. Reasonable accommodations may be made.
