Job summary

LBA Hospitality is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for the upcoming Home2 Suites Ooltewah/Chattanooga North property opening December. You will oversee hotel maintenance, perform repairs, and manage preventative maintenance to keep the property safe, functional, and well maintained.

This on-site leadership role requires strong troubleshooting, supervision of maintenance staff, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance technician experience.
• HVAC and pool maintenance certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance and building systems.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, organization, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.
• Perform and document preventative maintenance according to standards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders.
• Inspect and maintain hotel interior, exterior, equipment, and grounds.
• Train and supervise maintenance staff on procedures.
• Maintain maintenance logs and documentation.
• Ensure tools and equipment are available and maintained.
• Identify and address safety hazards.
• Manage maintenance within budget while maintaining service standards.
• Provide guest-focused service and maintain guest privacy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
