Responsibilities

• Carries beeper and IP phone, takes calls/requests, and assigns staff as required by situations.
• Documents all requests in log and delivers pager with report to next shift.
• Monitors bed tracking system and ensures adequate coverage during callouts.
• Cleans all assigned areas using vacuuming, dry mopping and damp mopping techniques.
• Reports all safety issues and equipment needs to the manager.
• Handles waste including biohazard/infectious, sharps and confidential waste following protocols.
