Job summary

TruBlue Home Service Ally is seeking a Lead Home Service Technician / Handyman to oversee operations across Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, La Jolla, San Marcos and the greater San Diego area. This role emphasizes hands-on repairs, leadership by example, and delivering dependable service to local customers.

You will perform high-quality maintenance, mentor technicians, ensure safety and customer satisfaction, and coordinate projects from start to finish with clear communication and professional pride.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on home repair or construction experience.
• Experience mentoring or managing other technicians is preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Committed to doing the job right and supporting clients and team.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and full toolset.
• Fluent in English and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

• Lead, coach, and support a team of Tru-Pro technicians.
• Uphold TruBlue’s high standard of professionalism, reliability, and customer care.
• Communicate clearly with customers and manage expectations on-site.

• Handle common projects such as bathroom/kitchen upgrades, drywall repair, flooring installation, general carpentry, interior/exterior painting, and basic plumbing/electrical.

Role: Lead Home Service Technician in Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, La Jolla, San Marcos, San Diego, Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Solana Beach, and surrounding areas

TruBlue Home Service Ally is a national franchise with over 120 locations that provides trusted handyman repairs, home safety upgrades, and maintenance services to help seniors age in place and support busy families. What You’ll Do

• Perform high-quality home maintenance and repair projects
• Lead, coach, and support a team of Tru-Pro technicians
