Job summary

Sleep Management, LLC d/b/a VieMed is seeking a Home Respiratory Therapist to manage clinical, technical, and administrative functions for patients in home settings in Decatur, AL. You will install and service equipment, maintain records, and coordinate care with physicians.

The role requires a valid Respiratory Therapist license and prior medical/respiratory experience; you will train staff and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting billing and referral activities.

Qualifications

• Medical or respiratory experience.
• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in the State where you practice.

Responsibilities

• Install/deliver respiratory therapist equipment and supply patients in home.
• Maintain clinical files, equipment records, and required documentation.
• Maintain asset and supply inventory; ensure vehicle kept per standards.
• Provide regulatory compliance guidance and staff training/orientation.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team, and coordinate referrals.
• Support billing/documentation for third‑party payors and prompt billing.
• Promote home RT services with referral sources; on‑call rotation with RTs.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment prior to installation; patient contact availability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
