Job summary

Park Nicollet seeks a Laboratory Technical Specialist to ensure reliability and integrity of test systems across all lab sites, coordinating with vendors and staff to implement procedures for testing methods and specimen handling.

The role emphasizes Anatomic Pathology with deep IHC expertise, serving as SME, mentor, and quality champion while partnering with pathologists and leaders to strengthen best practices and readiness for inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Cytology or a related healthcare field OR Associate’s Degree in Histotechnology.
• Three years’ operational laboratory experience required in specialty.
• Previous technical leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure and maintains reliability, integrity, and functionality of test systems across lab sites.
• Lead quality assurance systems including QC, test utilization, and proficiency testing.
• Collaborate with pathologists and lab leaders to strengthen best practices and inspection readiness.
