Job summary

Robert Peccia & Associates, based in Montana, seeks a Senior Highway Engineer to provide design leadership on roadway projects across the Northwest. You will lead roadway design efforts and mentor junior engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree, a Montana PE (or ability to obtain within six months), 6+ years of roadway design experience, and proficiency in Civil3D, MicroStation, and GEOPAK, with strong leadership and client collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Montana PE license or ability to obtain within six months.
• 6+ years of progressive roadway design experience; MDT/FHWA experience desirable.
• Proficiency in Civil3D, MicroStation and GEOPAK; strong leadership and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design leadership as discipline lead for roadway design on diverse projects.
• Plan, manage and oversee small- to medium-sized projects, delivering on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with engineers, clients, and agencies on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Engage clients and agencies with proactive communication and exceptional service.
• Mentor junior engineers to support technical and professional growth.
• Prepare reports, calculations, and comprehensive design documentation.
