Job summary

Maine Department of Transportation in Medway, ME is seeking a supervisory maintenance lead to oversee a crew responsible for highway, bridge, and heavy equipment maintenance and repair. You will plan, assign, supervise, and inspect a range of projects.

Responsibilities include keeping administrative records, developing budgets and reports, monitoring materials and supplies, enforcing safety protocols, and working with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Four-year combination of training, experience, and education in highway, bridge, and equipment repair and maintenance and/or construction.
• At least one year of lead worker experience is required.
• Valid Class C license with ability to obtain Class A within probation and completion of OSHA 30-hour construction course.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, supervise and inspect highway, bridge, and heavy equipment maintenance projects.
• Maintain records and develop budgets and reports for projects.
• Monitor materials, supplies, and safety precautions; work under limited supervision.
