Consolidated Edison Company of New York seeks a Manager (2H) to lead engineering activities for high tension interconnections and DER projects. The role focuses on technical leadership, design reviews, standards development, and stakeholder coordination across the distribution system.

The position emphasizes engineering excellence, safety, and reliability while guiding a team of engineers and professionals through pilot programs and modernization initiatives.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience in electric distribution or related fields.
• Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant engineering or operations experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and provide technical leadership to engineers responsible for High Tension interconnections and DER projects.
• Provide managerial oversight for engineering initiatives including equipment evaluations and new technology implementations.
• Lead process improvements to enhance reliability, safety, and customer experience.
• Develop and maintain engineering standards, procedures, and guidance documents; ensure compliance with EO-2022, EO-10215, NYS SIR, and industry standards.
• Coordinate interconnections with customers, developers, regulators, and internal teams to advance projects.
• Direct switchgear pilot programs from concept to deployment, including testing, reliability assessments, and field evaluations.
