Qualifications

• Must have completed ASEP / WVSSAC certification training and online courses.
• Appropriate grade level athletic coaching experience within last five years.

Responsibilities

• Administer the designated sports program.
• Develop team philosophies and responsibilities.
• Supervise players and assistant coaches.
• Inventory all equipment and manage budget with AD/Principal.
• Maintain fields and facilities and prepare game plans.
• Develop off-season strength and conditioning programs.
• Support player academic progress and care for injuries.
• Foster relationships with players, parents, staff, and community.
• Adhere to WVSSAC rules and attend clinics.
• Organize supplemental funding activities and evaluate staff.
