Job summary

Bowling Green City Schools is seeking a qualified Head Gymnastics Coach for the 2026-2027 season. The role leads the district's gymnastics program, guiding student-athletes through practices, competitions, and skill development while promoting sportsmanship and academic responsibility.

The ideal candidate will have gymnastics knowledge, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work with coaches, staff, families, and the Athletic Department.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of gymnastics, including fundamentals, skill development, training, conditioning.
• Ability to lead and develop student-athletes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to safety and district policies.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and conduct practices, scrimmages, and competitions.
• Develop athletes for interscholastic competition with focus on fundamentals and safety.
• Promote sportsmanship and positive team environment.
• Coordinate equipment, facilities, and transportation with staff.
• Monitor eligibility, physicals, and proper documentation.
• Supervise assistants and communicate with families and staff.
