Job summary

Lee County School System is seeking a Gymnastics Coach for their High School program. The coach will plan and supervise all aspects of gymnastics, focusing on student-athlete development, compliance with GHSA rules, and fostering sportsmanship.

Responsibilities include organizing the program, developing practice plans, instructing athletes in techniques, and ensuring safety. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and preferably hold a valid Georgia teaching certificate.

Qualifications

• Valid Georgia teaching certificate preferred, or eligibility as GHSA-approved community coach.
• Knowledge of gymnastics techniques, rules, and safety practices.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate student-athletes.

Responsibilities

• Organize and administer the Lee County High School gymnastics program.
• Develop practice plans, conditioning programs, and competition strategies.
• Instruct student-athletes in gymnastics fundamentals and safety procedures.
