Job summary

TOM BENSON SCHOOL in Kenner, Louisiana is seeking a Head Coach - Football to lead the football program and develop student athletes. The role requires strict adherence to LHSAA/JPPSS rules, strong organizational skills and the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

The Head Coach will supervise coaches, manage equipment and schedules, and ensure student safety and compliance with attendance and documenting requirements. A Louisiana teaching certificate is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Louisiana teaching certificate and LHSAA requirements.
• CDL Class B with P and S endorsements; no air brake restrictions.
• Experience with football fundamentals and LHSAA/JPPSS rules.

Responsibilities

• Plans and oversees the entire football program in line with LHSAA/JPPSS policies.
• Supervises coaching staff and maintains equipment and records.
• Schedules games, practices and travel; ensures safety and eligibility of student-athletes.
• Communicates with parents, administration and media as required.
• Performs duties assigned by the principal or athletics director.
