Relativity Space is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of electrical systems for launch and processing facilities at Cape Canaveral. You will own requirements, perform analyses, and guide equipment selection from design through commissioning.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with 6+ years in relevant electrical engineering, and strong ability to communicate complex decisions to engineers, operations, and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field and 6+ years of experience.
• Experience with electrical system design from requirements through commissioning.
• Experience in aerospace, utility, or industrial electrical systems.
• Experience owning projects through design, procurement, construction, commissioning or operations.
• Ability to communicate technical decisions and risks clearly.

Responsabilités

• Lead electrical project design and development of construction drawings for launch and processing facility projects.
• Design and provide technical direction for electrical systems across 22.5 kV to 120 V levels.
• Own electrical system requirements, analyses, and equipment selection.
• Develop and review construction drawings, RFQs, bid packages, and specs; oversee subcontractors.
• Lead installation, startup, troubleshooting, and commissioning with cross‑functional teams.
• Collaborate with management to improve design standards for future facilities.
