Antech Diagnostics is seeking a Hematology Lead to supervise laboratory activities, perform analyses to diagnose pet illnesses, and support staff development. This role centers on maintaining QA/QC, training, and efficient workflow within a veterinary lab.
Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a science field and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Shift is 1:00am–9:30am Tuesday through Sunday morning with a weekday day off, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Work Shift: 1:00am to 9:30 am Tuesday through Sunday morning with a day-off during the week.
The Target Pay for this position is $30.05 an hour. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.
The Hematology Lead assists in the supervision of day-to-day activities within the laboratory unit/group/area/department, performing laboratory analyses and tests to diagnose various pet and other animal illnesses, injuries and diseases in support of veterinarian animal treatment. Assists in supervising staff, training personnel and evaluating results. Contributes to the development of operating policies and procedures.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required, preferably in Science-related field.
Laboratory environment with potential biohazards present.
Potential for exposure to agents known to cause zoonotic disease in humans and use of potentially hazardous chemicals as defined by the National Hazard Communication Standards. A complete list of such chemicals is available from department supervision.
