Antech Diagnostics, part of Mars Science & Diagnostics, seeks a Hematology Technician IV for our New York laboratory to perform analyses, prepare samples, run tests and release results with accuracy in a high-volume operation. The role requires a BS in Biology or MLT with at least 2 years reading abnormal differentials.
Shift is Tue–Sun, 1:00 AM to 9:30 AM, with a weekday off. Target pay is $30.05 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits.

The Hematology Technician IV performs laboratory analyses and tests. Prepares samples, sets up instruments, runs tests and reads, interprets and releases results.

BS Degree in Biology or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or equivalent, with 2 years’ experience reading abnormal differentials in high volume operations.
Laboratory environment with potential biohazards present. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments. Work under close to moderate supervision with limited latitude for independent judgment. Potential for exposure to agents known to cause zoonotic disease in humans and use of potentially hazardous chemicals as defined by the National Hazard Communication Standards. A complete list of such chemicals is available from department supervision.
