Job summary

US Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service is seeking a Supervisory Helicopter Pilot to supervise up to 30 intermittent and part-time pilots and provide guidance in coordination with the Aviation Program Manager, Aviation Fleet Manager, and Operations & Logistics Managers. The role focuses on delivering aviation services to WS cooperators and stakeholders within the east region.

Qualifications

• Current FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with helicopter and instrument ratings.
• Experience meeting FAA flight hour requirements (Total Flight Time, PIC, etc.).
• Experience supervising other pilots or aerial crewmembers.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and guidance to pilots and collaborate with Aviation Program Manager, Aviation Fleet Manager and Operations & Logistics Managers to deliver aviation services to WS cooperators and stakeholders.
• Supervise up to 30 intermittent and part-time pilots and ensure compliance with FAA regulations and agency policies.
