Job description

Role Overview:

As a Lead Helicopter Pilot, you'll play a critical role in life-saving missions, transporting essential care to those in need. This is a dynamic and impactful position for pilots who thrive under pressure and are driven by a passion for making a real difference in the lives of others.


Responsibilities:
  1. Perform line pilot duties according to General Operating Manual (GOM) standards.
  2. Engage in community outreach and uphold company policies.
  3. Collaborate with internal and external teams to provide safe, efficient service.
  4. Support safety initiatives like the Safety Management System and Destination Zero.
  5. Assist with patient and equipment loading/unloading, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Requirements:
  1. Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings.
  2. First Class Medical certificate.
  3. 2,000 total hours, including:
    1. 1,500 hours in helicopters
    2. 1,000 hours as PIC in helicopters
    3. 500 hours in turbine helicopters
  4. Minimum of:
    1. 100 hours unaided night operations, or
    2. 50 hours unaided and 100 hours with NVG.
  5. Body weight of 235 pounds or less.
  6. Strong communication and customer service skills.
  7. Ability to adhere to safety and operational guidelines.
  8. Successful interview, physical exam, drug screening, and background check.
