Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a HAA Pilot for a full-time opportunity in the United States. The role involves transporting patients via helicopter under REACH operations, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must possess rotorcraft FAA Commercial certificate and helicopter instrument rating.
• FAA Class I or II medical certificate current.
• Total flight hours and helicopter hours meet required minimums as listed.
• Willingness to meet turbine helicopter hours and instrument time requirements.
• Weight limit of 230 pounds with flight gear enforced.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities with a team of medical experts.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals, FARs, REACH requirements and cleanliness duties.
• Maintain REACH and regulatory documentation and records accurately.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team per REACH change-board protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate

Helicopter instrument rating

Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate

2,000 Total Flight Hours

2,000 Helicopter Hours

1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours

1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours

1000 instrument flight hours
