Bethlehem Sewerage & Excavating Ser is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator / Laborer to join a small, safety-focused team in Bethlehem, PA. The role involves operating heavy equipment, driving commercial vehicles, and leading field tasks in outdoor conditions.

You will be expected to maintain equipment, support team operations, and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment. A valid CDL Class A license and willingness to perform physically demanding labor are required.

Qualifications

• Must have manual transmission experience and be able to perform pre-employment testing.
• Able to safely operate mini excavators, skid steers, and backhoes.
• Valid CDL Class A Pennsylvania driver’s license and medical card.
• High school diploma or GED required; positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment and drive commercial vehicles.
• Load and unload dump trucks; assist with material handling.
• Perform basic maintenance like checking fluids and greasing equipment.
• Inspect equipment and report repairs needed to management.
• Tows equipment to job sites and transport supplies as needed.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 75 pounds.
