Qualifications

Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, benefits, repair and maintenance.
Ability to adapt to changing conditions and work details.
Knowledge of motor vehicle engines, parts, and systems, and ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain them.
Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Professionally maintain heavy-duty and light-duty equipment and vehicles used for road and airport maintenance.
Diagnose and repair transmissions, drive trains, suspension, engines, emissions, fuel systems, hydraulics, brakes, and electrical systems.
Perform routine and specialized repairs on a variety of heavy equipment.
Travel to remote locations as needed and work in challenging environments.
