Job summary

Hayden Industrial in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is seeking an experienced Assembly Supervisor to plan, direct, and coordinate work activities for large heat exchanger assembly. The role oversees material flow, assembly, and testing, ensuring quality and on-time production in a non-temperature-controlled shop.

The position requires a high school diploma, 4+ years of manufacturing experience, and prior air-cooled heat exchanger assembly management.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets instructions and diagrams (blueprints).
• Analytical skills.
• Experience with hand tools, cranes, forklifts, tube rolling equipment, etc. is highly desired.
• Minimum of four (4) years manufacturing experience required.
• Prior air-cooled heat exchanger assembly production managing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the department employees and provide information and guidance to maximize potential.
• Manage the work orders load with attention to the schedule.
• Participate in assembly of coolers and log jobs daily in the labor app.
• Safely build heat exchangers using general shop tools.
• Supervise assembly of heat exchanger bundles including layout, tubing, rolling and hydrostatic testing.
• Supervise final assembly and testing of heat exchanger components and drive systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints; ensure product meets company quality standards.
• Follow company policies and safety programs.
• Balance labor for employees in each department.
• Communicate with shop manager on write-ups as needed.
• Ensure proper ERP time-entry and job logging; log rework when required.
• Coordinate with Department Leads to meet work schedules.
• Collaborate with Engineering/QC when changes are needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
