Acelero Learning is seeking a Lead Head Start Teacher in Philadelphia to guide a classroom of 3- to 4-year-old children. You will collaborate with an assistant teacher, families, and staff to support positive outcomes for all abilities.

Responsibilities include implementing a child-centered curriculum, documenting progress, and partnering with families. Travel up to 10% may be required; a degree in Early Childhood Education is required, plus background checks and a valid driver's license.

Qualificações

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or equivalent coursework, or otherwise meets the Head Start Act.
• Physical exam and background checks are required for this position.
• Travel required locally or long-distance up to 10% of the time for work-related meetings and functions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Implements a child-centered curriculum and learning environment to promote development in all domains for children of all abilities.
• Addresses challenging behaviors by observing causes and teaching the child new social and communication skills, partnering with families.
• Uses observations and anecdotal notes to document progress and individualize curriculum.
• Creates partnerships with families to establish positive interaction patterns in program, school, and home.
• Provides developmentally appropriate classroom experiences and language-rich interactions.
• Implements daily lesson plans aligned with children’s needs and interests.
