Job summary

Monarch Quantum, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer 3 – Product Integration to build and integrate server racks and photonics hardware, driving cross‑functional collaboration across mechanical, electrical, optical, software and firmware teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 5+ years in hardware project engineering or hardware product management, and a startup mindset to own initiatives from design through test and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in hardware project engineering or hardware product management.
• Experience in a hardware development startup environment.
• Experience with server rack development.
• Experience in laser system development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional rack integration across mechanical, electrical, optical, software and firmware teams.
• Plan and execute development activities with scope, schedule and budget.
• Translate customer usability, reliability, and maintainability requirements into design specs for Monarch Quantum’s products.
• Manage matrixed teams and vendors to meet schedules and ensure productivity.
• Define and defend project milestones: reviews, tests, and deployments.
