Lead Hardware Engineer

CircuitHire is partnered with a rapidly growing communications technology company, seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer Leader to oversee end-to-end hardware design and development of their well-regarded products.

As a Lead engineer, you will be responsible for hardware design through to production, directing a team of Engineers through the development of advanced RF-based Communications products used in Avionics applications.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the electronics hardware design efforts, making key design decisions and supporting engineers through the product development process.
• Implement engineering best practices to ensure products meet the highest standards for customers and industry requirements.
• Provide leadership to the engineering team, including performance management, appraisals, and promotions.
• Contribute to the hiring and interview process for the engineering team.

Required Experience:

• 7+ years of professional experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven track records leading entire hardware development projects.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Preferred:

• Aerospace or similar safety critical experience.
