Job summary

Pilotcompany is seeking a customer-focused associate to lead a shift, supervise one to two cashiers, and ensure efficient processing of cash, credit, and debit transactions at the travel center. The role includes closing procedures, adherence to alcohol and tobacco policies, and maintaining a clean work area while promoting product sales.

You will deliver quality service, handle guest concerns, manage break schedules, and assist with deli, showers/restrooms, stocking, and coffee tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Lead a shift of one to two cashiers to process all types of cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures.
• Follow company and local guidelines with regards to the sale of restricted merchandise items (alcohol, tobacco).
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products.
• Ensure quality service is delivered to every guest.
• Handle guest complaints and issues per company processes; communicate issues to management.
• Determine break schedules and team member placement during shift.
• Assist with other travel center functions such as deli, showers/restrooms, stocking, making coffee.
• Model behaviors that support the company's common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level.
• Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Close out registers and complete shift reports.
• Promote compliance with alcohol and tobacco sale rules.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and customer-ready displays.
• Provide excellent guest service and resolve issues per policy.
• Assist with deli, showers, restrooms, stocking, and coffee duties as needed.

The purpose of this job is to process merchandise and fuel transactions.

• Follow company and local guidelines with regards to the sale of any restricted merchandise items (i.e., alcohol, tobacco)
• Maintain an organized and clean work area

• Determine break schedules and team member placement during shift

• Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Complete other duties as assigned

Pay Rates Starting between: $13.25 - $18.75 / hour
