Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a Guest Services teammate to process merchandise and fuel transactions and lead a small cashier shift. You will ensure accurate cash handling, provide excellent guest service, and follow all guidelines for restricted merchandise.

The role supports a range of travel center functions, from deli to cleaning and restocking, with a focus on teamwork and compliance. Training and weekly pay are included.

Qualifications

• Lead a shift of one-to-two cashiers to process cash, credit, and debit transactions
• Complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures
• Follow company and local guidelines with regards to sale of restricted merchandise (alcohol, tobacco)
• Maintain an organized and clean work area
• Use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products
• Ensure quality service is delivered to every guest
• Handle guest complaints and issues by following company processes; resolve team member conflict
• Determine break schedules and team member placement during shift
• Assist with other travel center functions (deli, showers/restrooms, stocking, coffee)
• Model behaviors supporting the company’s purpose; support guests and team members at highest level
• Ensure activities comply with rules and policies; perform other duties as assigned

Job Description

The purpose of this job is to process merchandise and fuel transactions. Essential Functions include:

• Lead a shift of one-to-two cashiers to process all types of cash, credit, and debit transactions
• Complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures
• Follow company and local guidelines with regards to the sale of any restricted merchandise items (i.e., alcohol, tobacco)
• Maintain an organized and clean work area
• Use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products
• Ensure quality service is delivered to every guest
• Handle guest complaints and issues by following company processes and guidelines; resolve team member conflict; and communicate issues to management
• Determine break schedules and team member placement during shift
• Assist with other travel center functions such as maintaining deli, cleaning showers and restrooms, stocking, making coffee, etc.
• Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
• Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Complete other duties as assigned

Pay Rates Starting between: $11.95 - $16.95 / hour
