Job summary

Sword is building AI to heal billions and unlock humanity's full potential through AI Care, a scalable approach to healthcare. As Lead Growth Engineer, you will lead a growth engineering team responsible for member acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization across our D2C platform.

You will architect experimentation platforms, drive full-funnel growth initiatives across web and mobile, and ensure rigorous instrumentation and data pipelines in collaboration with Data Science.

Qualifications

• Production services at scale with TypeScript and modern web/mobile architectures.
• Experience leading growth engineering teams in high-growth product environments.
• Expertise in experimentation engines, feature flag management, event telemetry, and full-funnel analytics.
• Strong business acumen and fluency in core growth metrics (CAC, LTV, activation velocity, conversion rates, and cohort retention).

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing growth engineering team, setting standards for execution velocity, testing rigor, and code quality.
• Architect, scale, and maintain our experimentation infrastructure, including feature flagging, cohort targeting, dynamic personalization, and multi-armed bandit systems.
• Drive full-funnel engineering initiatives across web and mobile platforms to optimize member acquisition, onboarding completion, subscription conversions, and retention loops.
• Implement trustworthy event instrumentation and data pipelines in partnership with Data Science to ensure accurate attribution, funnel telemetry, and statistically sound experiment results.
• Partner directly with Product, Design, and Marketing leadership to translate business objectives into prioritized technical roadmaps and rapid experimentation cycles.
• Champion a culture of data-informed decision-making, rapid iteration, and pragmatic trade-offs between speed-to-market and long-term system architecture.
• Ensure high system performance, data consistency, and failure recovery across critical growth touchpoints and checkout flows.
• Lead the integration of AI tools across engineering workflows to accelerate build cycles while ensuring security, correctness, and maintainability.
