Job summary

University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA) Facilities Management seeks a Groundskeeper Lead to oversee outdoor maintenance across the campus. You will manage a crew, coordinate schedules, and ensure health and beauty of lawns, trees, shrubs, and gardens on a large campus.

Role requires night shifts (Wed-Sun, 7PM-3:30AM) and a valid California driver license. Expect high safety and teamwork emphasis, with opportunities to lead projects and train staff.

Qualifications

• Experience with care and treatment of diverse plant life and pest/disease identification.
• Experience in trimming trees/shrubs and lawn maintenance.
• Ability to safely operate grounds equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to coordinate workloads and supervise subordinates.
• Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork and vendors.
• Ability to work under fluctuating workloads and deadlines.
