Job summary

Legacy Memorial Holdings LLC is seeking a Superintendent for Grounds Keeping & Landscape to lead the maintenance and enhancement of outdoor spaces at Arlington Memorial Park in El Dorado, AR. You will manage a team, coordinate schedules, and collaborate with managers and contractors to deliver attractive, safe landscapes.

The role requires strong horticultural knowledge, 5+ years in groundskeeping with 2+ years supervisory experience, and a valid driver’s license to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of horticulture, turf management, and landscape maintenance techniques.
• Familiarity with the safe operation of landscaping equipment and tools.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between multiple sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily groundskeeping and landscaping activities to ensure timely and quality completion of tasks.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules for lawns, gardens, trees, and other landscape features.
• Manage and train groundskeeping staff, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of landscaping equipment and tools, ensuring proper use and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with property management and external vendors to plan and execute landscaping projects and seasonal enhancements.
• Monitor and manage inventory of supplies, fertilizers, and materials required for grounds maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices related to pesticide use, irrigation, and waste management.
• Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
