True Anomaly, Inc. is seeking a Lead Ground Systems Engineer to own the systems engineering lifecycle for a satellite command and control ground system within the Mosaic portfolio. You will define requirements, drive RV&V, and lead interface definition across space-to-ground networks.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, cross-team collaboration, and responsibility for gating reviews, tests, and mission readiness, with significant interaction with government customers.

Qualifications

• 12+ years full lifecycle experience leading ground control systems.
• Demonstrated leadership as lead systems engineer for a ground system program.
• Experience with Type 1 encryption in space-to-ground systems.
• Experience with Antenna-as-a-Service (AaaS) solutions.
• Understanding TCPED lifecycle in ground control contexts.
• DoD RMF/NIST SP 800-53 security control familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Own the systems engineering execution for the satellite command and control ground system program.
• Translate mission needs into actionable engineering solutions for ground segments.
• Develop and own system-level integration and verification plans (IV&V).
• Lead MBSE integration and RV&V activities across the program.
• Coordinate with subsystem teams to troubleshoot integration challenges.
