Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of culinary experience, including significant grill experience.
• Previous lead cook or supervisory experience preferred.
• Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Thorough knowledge of grilling techniques, cooking methods, and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily grill station operations.
• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Grill proteins to proper temperatures and presentation specifications.
• Assist with training, coaching, and supporting kitchen staff.

Summary
The Lead Grill Cook oversees grill station operations while ensuring high-quality food preparation, consistency, and efficiency. This role serves as a leader within the kitchen, assisting with training, mentoring, and coordinating line staff while maintaining Juniper Preserve's standards for food quality, safety, and guest service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily grill station operations.
• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.

• Communicate operational needs and concerns to culinary leadership.
• Perform opening, closing, stocking, rotation, and cleaning duties as assigned.

• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef.

Qualifications

Certifications

• Current Food Handler Card required.
