Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong leadership to manage a crew on grading and earthwork sites.
• Effective time management to meet deadlines and coordinate hours.
• Excellent organizational skills for daily activity scheduling.
• Clear communication with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA protocols on-site.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and site drawings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site grading and earthwork activities.
• Operate heavy equipment (bulldozers, graders, excavators, loaders, scrapers, compactors).
• Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, specs and soil reports.
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and ensure crew adherence on-site.
• Lead and motivate a crew, ensuring safe, productive work environment.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to meet deadlines.
