Job summary

Morgan Corp. is seeking a Grade Foreman in Moncks Corner, SC to lead earthwork, grading, and underground utility crews on heavy civil projects. You will plan daily activities, read plans, coordinate resources, and ensure work meets project specs and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of heavy civil leadership experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a proven ability to manage schedules and crews on site. A strong safety mindset and reliable teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading crews on earthwork, grading, or underground utility work.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Strong commitment to safety policies and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crews performing earthwork, grading, and underground utility installation.
• Plan and direct daily activities to maintain project schedules and productivity.
• Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials with supervision to support schedules.
• Inspect ongoing work for quality and accuracy against specs.
• Monitor crew performance and implement efficiency improvements.
• Enforce safety policies and project requirements.
• Complete production reports, time records, inspections, and safety docs.
• Participate in evaluations, coaching, and discipline as needed.
• Communicate with project leadership, subs, suppliers, and field staff.
