Cherry Glass & Aluminum in Idaho Falls is seeking a self-motivated Lead Glass Installer to oversee storefronts, doors, and residential glass projects. You will read blueprints, measure precisely, lift heavy panes, and guide a crew to high‑quality, safe installations.

Requirements include a valid driver's license, blueprint reading, tool proficiency (grinders, cutters, caulk guns, nailers, miter boxes, utility knives), and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Essential prerequisite: able to lead installation crew and read blueprints.
• Able to read measurements precisely and align glass frames correctly.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards; PPE usage required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor installation crew with knowledge and example.
• Install storefront systems, commercial windows/doors, and residential windows.
• Read blueprints and meet project specifications.
• Cut, fit, and align glass within frames.
• Assemble and install components to hold glass.
• Apply putty, sealant, or weatherproofing.
• Inspect work for quality and safety.
