Job summary

Allied Glass seeks an experienced supervisor to lead glass installation teams in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area. You will read plans, coordinate with customers and project managers, ensure safety and quality, and guide crew performance.

The role demands 5+ years in glass install or related construction and prior supervisory experience. Full-time on-site work with a predictable schedule and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior management or supervisory experience.
• 5+ years of glass install or construction related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license and insurability for regular business travel.
• Ability to lift 80 lbs.
• Ability to read blueprints and take measurements with a tape measure.
• Great attendance record.
• Ability to work alone and with others, including co-workers and project management staff.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload glass panels as required by project needs.
• Fabricate aluminum window frames, cut & install glass materials.
• Read and interpret plans.
• Interface with customers and project managers.
• Comply with company process, policies, and safety protocols always.
• Measure, cut and fabricate glass according to client specifications.
• Ensure accuracy and precision in all fabrication process.
• Provide advice and address concerns throughout the installation process.
• Maintain punctuality for appointments and uphold clear communication with clients.
• Supervise, train and support glass installers.
• Ensure team members have the skills and knowledge for successful performance.
• Provide coaching and guidance to increase team performance.

Work Location: Waterloo / Cedar Falls location (75 mile radius outside the area).

Working Schedule: Monday- Friday - 7am - 3:30pm

Job Type: Full-time - 40 hours per week

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
