Job summary

Karwell Technologies Inc. is seeking an AI/ML Engineer (Gen AI, LLM, RAG) to remotely architect and deliver production-grade generative AI solutions.

You will design RAG systems, vector databases and knowledge retrieval, while building scalable APIs and cloud-native ML infrastructure. The role requires extensive Python experience, 10+ years in software/AI, and 5+ years deploying LLM/Generative AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Data Science or related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering, ML, or AI engineering experience.
• 5+ years building and deploying LLM/Generative AI solutions.
• Strong Python and modern software engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop production-grade Generative AI and LLM-powered solutions.
• Design and implement RAG systems, vector search, and knowledge retrieval platforms.
• Build scalable APIs, AI services, and cloud-native ML/LLM infrastructure.
• Establish evaluation frameworks for model quality, groundedness, and safety.
• Lead Responsible AI practices including bias mitigation, security, and privacy.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to identify high-value AI use cases.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative business-driven solutions.
