Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree or higher in professional engineering; ABET accreditation or equivalent coursework.
• Program must include differential and integral calculus and courses in five of seven engineering/physics areas.
• Areas include statics/dynamics; strength of materials; fluid mechanics; thermodynamics; electrical fields/circuits; materials; or other comparable areas.

Responsibilities

• Leading teams, assigning workload, reviewing/approving work products, training and mentoring team members.
• Applying technical engineering theories, principles, standards and methods.
• Conducting market research to determine if a product/service meets FAR definitions.
• Coordinating with contracting to deliver technical pricing information.
• Recommending improvements to organizational procedures and workflows.
• Briefing senior officials on organizational performance measurements.
• Using effective oral and written communications to present observations and recommendations.
