Job summary

People's Dentistry in Escondido, CA seeks a skilled General Dentist to join our growing practice. You will provide exams, restorative and cosmetic procedures, and lead a clinical team to deliver comprehensive, high-quality care across all ages.

You will collaborate with hygienists and assistants to develop treatment plans, maintain patient safety, and uphold the highest standards of clinical excellence in a busy, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

Active and unrestricted State Dental License (DDS/DMD).
Doctorate from a CODA-accredited dental school.
Current DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances and CPR/BLS/ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

Diagnose diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums; create comprehensive treatment plans.
Place resin restorations, crowns, bridges, core build-ups, and perform prosthetic work.
Perform root canal therapy and manage endodontic procedures.
Extract teeth surgically and non-surgically as needed.
Place guided implants for suitable candidates.
Design and fit dentures and removable partials.
Oversee hygiene operations and ensure preventive care and SRPs when needed.
Provide emergency care for trauma, infections, or acute pain.
Explain diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients.
Supervise and mentor dental staff to maintain OSHA and CDC safety standards.
