Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred.
• Leadership or team lead experience preferred.
• Ability to train and motivate employees.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform all General Cleaner duties (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting, trash removal, restroom cleaning).
• Lead and support janitorial staff during assigned shifts.
• Train new employees on cleaning procedures, safety requirements, and site-specific expectations.
• Monitor the quality of work and provide coaching as needed.
• Ensure areas are cleaned to customer and company standards.
• Assist with work assignments and daily task distribution.
• Report attendance, performance concerns, and staffing needs to management.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when inventory is low.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Ensure adherence to policies and safety procedures.
• Complete required reports, inspection forms, and logs.
• Assist with special projects and additional cleaning duties as assigned.
• Secure the building and set alarms as required.
