Job summary

Signature Medical Group in Massachusetts seeks a skilled Gastroenterologist to diagnose and treat GI and liver conditions. The role involves performing endoscopies and biopsies, managing chronic GI diseases, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will have an MD or DO, completed internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship, and be board-certified or eligible in Gastroenterology.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an internal medicine residency and a gastroenterology fellowship.
• Board certification (or board eligibility) in Gastroenterology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage GI tract and liver disorders.
• Perform endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy) and biopsies.
• Interpret diagnostic results and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and dietitians.
• Educate patients about GI health and prevention.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance.
• Participate in on-call rotations and meetings.
