Job summary

Atlantic MEDsearch is assisting a well-established hospital practice in Lexington, KY to recruit a GI associate to work with one GI and a midlevel provider. Office hours are Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm with some days in Endoscopy.

Expected patient volume is about 25 per day. Procedures include colonoscopy and endoscopies; ERCP is preferred but not required. Compensation includes salary, incentives, relocation, vacation/CME, benefits, malpractice, retirement and may include a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Board-certified gastroenterologist with completed fellowship.
• Experience in colonoscopy; ERCP preferred but not required.
• Active medical license and privileges at a hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide GI consults and perform endoscopic procedures.
• Share on-call duties 1:2 with hospitalists and GI colleague.
• Manage outpatient clinic and inpatient gastroenterology services.
