Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
• Fellowship training in Functional Neurosurgery
• Arizona medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Commitment to academic medicine, innovation, and multidisciplinary care
• Interest in program development and clinical leadership

Responsibilities

• Lead a full-time Functional Neurosurgery program and drive growth regionally
• Collaborate with Movement Disorders, Epilepsy, Neuropsychology, neuroradiology and multidisciplinary neuroscience teams
• Engage in resident and medical student teaching and clinical research
• Develop and implement Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) and advanced neuromodulation therapies
• Enhance access to advanced surgical care and innovative treatment approaches
