Job summary

Banner University Medicine Neurosurgery in Scottsdale, Arizona, seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Functional Neurosurgeon to lead the growth of its regional program. This is an on‑site, full‑time opportunity designed to build a premier service within Banner's neuroscience network.

You will collaborate closely with movement disorders specialists, epilepsy teams, neuropsychology, and neuroradiology to advance DBS and other neuromodulation therapies while mentoring residents and contributing

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery.
• Fellowship training in Functional Neurosurgery.
• Arizona medical license or eligibility for licensure.
• Commitment to academic medicine, innovation, and multidisciplinary care.
• Interest in program development and clinical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a premier Functional Neurosurgery program within Banner's neuroscience service line.
• Collaborate with movement disorders, epilepsy neurology, neuropsychology, neuroradiology, and multidisciplinary neuroscience teams to deliver advanced surgical care.
• Engage in resident and medical student teaching, clinical research, and innovation.
• Expand access to specialized neuroscience care across Arizona.
