VB Spine seeks a Lead Analyst, Functional Applications & IT Quality to own the application lifecycle for core global business functions. You’ll partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and HR to align tech solutions with business needs and drive cost optimization while managing vendor relationships.

You will oversee integration, governance, and data integrity in a fast-paced MedTech environment, collaborating with global teams across regions. A proactive, hands-on mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years in business applications and SaaS implementations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Familiarity with enterprise integrations: SSO, REST APIs, data mapping, webhook-based triggers.
• Experience in regulated environments (medical device or life sciences preferred).
• Experience with Rippling, Emburse, Adobe Workfront, SPM platforms.

Responsabilités

• Own the full application lifecycle, including implementation, enhancement, release management, optimization, and retirement.
• Partner with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and HR to align technology with business needs.
• Lead application selection, implementation, and portfolio rationalization to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Drive continuous improvement through system reviews, legacy decommissioning, and performance optimization.
• Own configuration, administration, governance, and lifecycle management of applications.
• Design, implement, and support integrations, including APIs, data integrations, and SSO.
• Troubleshoot system and integration issues with cross-functional teams.
• Drive data governance, and deployment activities to ensure data integrity.
• Negotiate contracts and licensing terms with IT and Legal; surface cost optimization opportunities.
• Evaluate make vs buy decisions and build leadership-ready recommendations.
• Serve as liaison between business owners, IT, and vendors; translate needs into app requirements.
• Develop and maintain application documentation and training materials.
• Establish governance processes for requests, change management, and access; provide regular health, spend, and lifecycle reports.

As a Lead Analyst, Functional Applications and IT Quality, you will own the application lifecycle management strategy for key global business functions, including HR, Legal, Finance, and Marketing.

You will partner with business and IT leaders to ensure technology initiatives are prioritized, delivered, and aligned with business goals, regulatory requirements, and financial objectives. Responsible for the full application portfolio, you will drive platform optimization, introduce new solutions, eliminate redundancies, manage vendor relationships, and retire low-value tools. In a fast-paced, evolving MedTech environment, you will provide structure and governance to technology delivery while ensuring a scalable, cost-effective application landscape.

Success in this role requires a proactive, hands‑on mindset, strong project leadership, sound decision-making in ambiguous situations, and the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and regions.

WhatYou’llDo:

Application Lifecycle Management

• Own the full application lifecycle, including implementation, enhancement, release management, optimization, and retirement.
• Partner with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and HR to align technology solutions with business needs.
• Lead application selection, implementation, and portfolio rationalization to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and eliminate redundancies.
• Drive continuous improvement through system reviews, legacy application decommissioning, project tracking, and performance optimization.

Integration & Technical Support

• Own application configuration, administration, governance, and lifecycle management, ensuring reliable and scalable business solutions.
• Partner with IT, vendors, and business stakeholders to design, implement, and support integrations, including APIs, data integrations, and SSO.
• Troubleshoot system and integration issues, coordinating resolution across technical and business teams to maintain
• Drive data governance, system enhancements, and deployment activities to ensure data integrity, seamless integrations, and continuous improvement.
• Own vendor relationships for assigned applications: renewals, escalations, roadmaps, and SLA accountability
• N egotiate contracts and licensing terms in partnership with IT leadership and Legal teams
• Proactively surface cost optimization and consolidation opportunities, especially in preparation for contract renewals
• Evaluate make vs buy decisions and build recommendations for leadership

Stakeholder Enablement & Governance

• Serve as the primary liaison between business functional owners, IT, and vendors; translate business needs into application requirements
• Develop and maintain application documentation and training materials
• Establish and adhere to governance processes for application requests, change management, and application access
• Produce regular reporting on application health, utilization, spend, and lifecycle status for IT and business leadership
• Build a strong relationship across the various functions that you will serve; you are a strategic consultant and advisor for the business when it comes to their technology needs

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in business applications, IT business analytics, or related role and in managing end-to-end SaaS application implementations
• Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Familiarity with enterprise integrations: SSO, REST APIs, data mapping, webhook-based trigers
• Experience operating in regulated environments (medical device or life sciences strongly preferred)
• Experience with one or more relevant applications (e.g. Rippling, Emburse, Adobe Workfront, Sales Performance Management platforms)

Compensation:
Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, with additional factors like territory requirements, qualifications, and performance taken into account. The typical pay range for this position is $105,000 – $120,000 annually, with potential for bonuses and incentives plus benefits.

VB Spine reserves the right to offer compensation outside of this listed range. Final compensation is determined on a case‑by‑case basis and considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, and market conditions.
