Job summary

Applied Information Sciences, Inc. seeks a Sr. Lead Software Engineer to drive full-stack development using Java, Spring Boot, and React.

You will design secure RESTful APIs, optimize PostgreSQL schemas, and work within an agile team to deliver enterprise applications. Strong UI design, DevOps, and cloud tooling are required. Active Top-Secret Clearance is required; 7+ years of experience, and a background in CS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or closely related field.
• Strong UI design and development skills with React, Java, and CSS.
• Extensive Java, Spring Framework/Security, Spring Boot, Hibernate, SQL/PLSQL, PostgreSQL, RESTful APIs, Maven, Git.
• Experience with AWS (S3, EC2, ECS, Aurora), Kubernetes, Docker, Keycloak.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
• Active Top-Secret Clearance (Interim Top Secret will not be accepted).

Responsibilities

• Provide full-stack design and development support using Java, SpringMVC/Spring Security/Spring Boot, React, and PostgreSQL.
• Develop and maintain secure RESTful APIs and scalable database schemas.
• Lead cross-functional delivery and ensure code quality through reviews.
• Plan deployments, CI/CD, and documentation; support all life-cycle phases.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility and security practices.
