Qualifications

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Strong Java development with Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate, JMS, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience deploying and monitoring applications on AWS (S3, Lambda, IAM, Security).
• Hands-on in system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Ability to document architecture artifacts (diagrams, standards, decision records).
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods.
• Full SDLC proficiency across projects and teams.
• Experience using AI-assisted software development tools with focus on correctness, performance and security.
• Knowledge of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and secure handling of data.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions and debugging with novel approaches.
• Develops secure production code and reviews peers' code.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex apps and ensures constraints are met.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation and improve stability.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on architecture suitability.
• Drives communities of practice in software engineering and adoption of new technologies.
• Promotes enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and speed.
• Applies SDLC tools including AI-assisted development and automation.
• Delivers software solutions with a focus on scalable and secure outcomes.
